Auction Direct Flowers was established in 2014 and set up as a means of sourcing fantastic quality flowers from sources as close to the grower as possible. The constraints of buying from large Dutch flower wholesalers included vastly fluctuating prices, quality issues and lack of selection. Since our incorporation we have found some amazing sources of the absolute best quality flowers from around the world.
As we entered into the lockdown winding the company up seemed a real possibility as we primarily supplied flowers for weddings, events and flower sellers forced to close down because of the covid virus. Deciding to continue to buy flowers from struggling growers we decided to sell directly to peoples homes to try and keep our business and some of our grower’s businesses going. It has been a real pleasure supplying beautiful flowers into peoples homes during these difficult days.
